The active substance providing <strong><u>water repellency<\/u><\/strong> on the <strong><u>surface<\/u><\/strong> is polymethylsilikic acid. The best method is to add TEOSIL 1054 into water while stirring vigorously. Trial applications should always be performed beforehand to determine the correct dilution ratio.<\/p>\n<p>TEOSIL 1054 diluted with water is applied to the material using appropriate tools such as brushing or dipping to obtain a sufficient and even <strong><u>Coating<\/u><\/strong>. Application in two layers is not recommended. When used on the exterior facades of <strong><u>Buildings<\/u><\/strong>, uneven application may cause white spots and staining.<\/p>\n<h3>Service Life and Storage<\/h3>\n<p>The product should be stored in its tightly sealed original packaging. It should be stored in stainless steel barrels, plastic or glass containers. Tin, aluminum, galvanized or lacquered containers are not suitable. If crystals form due to very low storage temperatures, they will re-dissolve when the product is allowed to warm up.<\/p>\n<p>The expiration date is indicated on the original packaging. Exceeding this period does not mean that the product is unusable; however, its usability should be checked by testing before use in production.
